The Restore Programme will provide support to ex-service personnel and their families

There will be an easily accessible single point of referral, open to all agencies, GP’s, and referral sources including self-referral.

Focus will be on personal recovery and social inclusion, with a particular appreciation of difficulties ex-service personnel face, including advice on benefits, employment, housing, physical and mental health issues.

Mental Health Support Services – with easy access for treatment including National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) approved and recommended trauma-focused psychological therapies, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprogramming (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and other therapies including Art therapies and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) therapies.

Availability of Group work with other ex-service personnel as a source of companionship and solidarity.
Provision of a residential Support and Training Facility for ex-service personnel and their families in a tranquil setting in Anglesey.

The Restore Facility will provide a service for the Veterans of Liverpool and Merseyside and their families, help will be on hand for them every step of the way. Once a veteran or family member has engaged with the Restore Facility they will always have the comfort of knowing where to go should problems arise. Follow up care and support is always available.
