Beacon Counselling Trust initiated its latest activity with our gambling recovery aftercare programme now underway, which is being delivered in partnership with BetKnowMore and their Peer Aid Project.
A group of service users who have progressed through treatment participated in a professionally guided wellbeing walk to Moel Famau, located in the Clwydian hills of North Wales, on Saturday 22nd July 2023, which was facilitated by our Trek Therapy practitioners. The group commented how much they thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to more outdoor adventures.
Our Trek Therapy element of our gambling support aftercare programme will be providing a regular schedule of complementary wellbeing walks that services users can access as part of their on-going recovery and relapse prevention support.
