It’s great to see Pub Invest Group have taken the opportunity to use their well-established boxing event for a platform to allow their team members to take on a challenge and get active and through this to help them break down barriers and engage in conversations about mental health.
In doing so they will also be raising essential funds for our Paul’s Place Bereavement Support Programme at Beacon Counselling Trust which provides free specialist bereavement therapy and a range of different forms of group support and outdoor therapies for those bereaved by suicide in the Merseyside area.
In the last year we have received 113 referrals for support and delivered over 1141 therapeutic sessions with over 80 holistic group sessions and it is only through donations and fundraising events such as these that we are able to continue to provide such support.
Any money raised for Paul’s Place is an investment in our community and goes directly to support those bereaved by suicide.
We are grateful that Pub Invest Group have chosen to use this event to help us in continuing to provide this vital support and look forward to seeing how this event and bootcamp unfolds. We would like to thank the staff at Pub Invest Group for stepping up to take on this challenge in such high numbers!
