Like so many lesser-known charities, due to the Coronavirus pandemic we have seen a number of planned fundraising events either postponed or cancelled this year. Sadly, this has resulted in a significant drop in donations received. Yet the number of people who are accessing our free specialist postvention support service, continues to rise.
Since we receive no Government or NHS funding, we are reliant on donations, fund raising efforts and charitable grants.
Rather than lose out on any potential donations, which our Paul’s Place Christmas Money Wall could raise; we have decided to move it online this year.
Instead of sending Christmas cards and/or exchanging gifts, why not donate to our charity instead?
It’s very straightforward and so easy to take part. You decide on an amount you would normally spend (between £1 and £100) and donate that amount. You may choose to donate individually or make a donation as a larger family or workplace group. Whatever suits you best. The board is updated each week.
The money raised and received is used to provide much needed help and support to people bereaved by suicide, across the whole Merseyside area.

Thank you.
Merry Christmas & Happy New year from Beacon Counselling Trust and Paul’s Place.
