Educational gambling awareness workshops
We offer FREE educational gambling awareness workshops for organisations across Merseyside and the North West of England
Do you work with young people and want to help educate them about gambling-related harms?
We deliver an awareness workshop to young people (aged 11-19) in group settings (e.g. school or FE college), designed to achieve three learning outcomes:
- Young people have the awareness, knowledge and skills to make safer choices around gambling
- Young people understand the impacts of gambling-related harms and the signs of a gambling problem in themselves or someone else.
- Increased awareness amongst young people of where and how to access help
Do you interact with young people who may be affected by gambling-related harms?
We deliver training to the professional workforce (e.g. teachers, social workers, youth workers) working directly with young people, designed to achieve three learning outcomes:
- Increased awareness amongst workforce of impacts, signs and symptoms of gambling-related harms
- Enhanced confidence amongst the workplace to interact with, and screen for, gambling-related harms with young people
- Increased awareness amongst professionals of where help is available
