Our Young People’s Gambling Harms Prevention Programme are delighted to have partnered up with Halton Borough Council to join their well-established Healthy Schools Programme. Our workshops are now embedded within their offer across primary, secondary, and additional needs education settings as well as for parents and professionals. This will allow us to educate and support this community around gambling and gaming harms.
Halton Healthy School Award is based on a whole school approach to physical, social, emotional health and wellbeing. Their aim is to provide a foundation on which the school can build and improve their health outcomes, whilst embedding new strategies into the school culture.
The Healthy schools programme is not just about the children and young people, it is about the whole school community. Our free Young People’s Gambling Harms Prevention workshops are available to all young people aged 10-19, parents, and professionals who support young people.
