The ‘Six To Ten’ Project puts affected others at the centre of care to help individuals overcome many of the challenges gambling harms present in everyday life. Our mission is to create a free, holistic support and a safe space for those affected to help mitigate the harms through intervention, prevention and importantly building resilience for the future.
The project was recently launched on the 6th April 2022 and is a collaborative programme developed in-partnership with Ara Recovery for All, Beacon Counselling Trust and DrugFam.
Recently our partners Ara highlighted the experiences of this issue with one of our Southwest based project workers Steph Shilton. Steph herself supported her husband Peter Shilton, the ex-professional footballer and England international, through a 45 year addiction to gambling.
Watch the film to find out more about the ‘Six to Ten’ Project and learn how we are supporting affected others as part of the wide range of gambling related harm initiatives we offer.
