Having approached Paul’s Place BCT, offering to fundraise by running the Liverpool half Marathon on Sunday 17th March 2024, Beacon Counselling Trust Therapist, Ann-Marie, suggested that her colleagues James and Jon from BCT’s Education & Intervention Team were also running and may agree to fundraise as part of a team. At that point, the Paul’s Place Liverpool International Half Marathon Team was born!
Ann-Marie has already done sterling work in raising much needed funds and by adding James and Jon to the team, can help ensure even more funds are raised for this unique and vital service, which is a lifeline for those bereaved by suicide in Merseyside. We receive no Government or NHS funding, and are therefore reliant on fundraising events, donations, and charitable grants.
