Due to several reasons, we are unable to hold our Christmas Fair this year. However, in place of it we are holding a Grand Christmas Draw instead. Tickets are available and come in books of 5. However, you can purchase single tickets, for £1 each. If you require any, please drop an email to Agnes.williams@beaconcounsellingtrust.co.uk and they can be made available for you to either collect at the office or can be posted out, if you prefer. Please note that as the draw will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday 19th December 2023, they do need to be returned without delay. Also, our annual Paul’s Place Money Wall is currently underway. This fundraiser is designed to give people a “way out” of sending cards and/or gifts, by choosing to donate to Paul’s Place instead. It is so easy to take part, you simply decide on a sum of money that you would have spent on cards/gifts and choose to donate that amount to the Money wall instead. The amount you donate is marked off the board and that is basically it! The page will remain open until 31st January 2024, giving people a chance to still donate after the Christmas holiday is over. We know how much people are struggling financially, which is why even the smallest donations matter. Like the familiar saying goes… …” every little helps.” If you are a UK taxpayer, please consider gift aiding your donation. By doing so, Paul’s Place receives an extra 25% of you donation, e.g., £20 becomes £25, £40 becomes £50, etc. The link to this year’s fundraiser can be found by using this link: Agnes Williams is fundraising for PAUL’S PLACE – BCT (justgiving.com) SAVE THE DATE of Paul’s Place Charity Tandem Skydive, which takes place at Black Knights Parachute Centre, Lancaster on Sunday 12th May 2024. The idea of doing this has come from our good friend and avid Paul’s Place fundraiser, Brian (Nasher) Nash (former guitarist of Frankie Goes To Hollywood); who will be taking part in the jump, too. Participants must be aged 16 years minimum in order to jump. There is a lot of information available on their website (bkpc.co.uk). Please be sure to read through it, when you get chance and ensure that you meet the criteria to take part. Please note you would need to raise a minimum of £300 to take part in this event, as it costs £250 per person to take part. If you do wish to sign up for the event, please let us know as we will need to keep a record of who is taking part and make sure you have all necessary information, including a Paul’s Place T Shirt and any other details you may need nearer to the event date. If you need a personalised sponsorship form too, then this can be arranged. Please send all enquiries to Agnes.williams@beaconcounsellingtrust.co.uk
