A huge thanks to Mari and friends of The Rose of Mossley for the amazing support given to Paul’s Place BCT during the past year. A special mention to Crissy Rock and Bruce Grobbelaar too, for coming along to present the cheques on the night.
We were absolutely delighted to be selected as one of their chosen charities during 2022-2023 and were truly grateful to receive our cheque for a staggering £3,500; every penny of which will be used to provide vital and specialist support to people bereaved by suicide in the Merseyside area. Also, just when you think it can’t get any better, the announcement then came that Paul’s Place BCT had again, been selected as a chosen charity for 2023-2024, having received over 200 votes on Facebook!!!
The fundraising that takes place in “The Rose” is truly unique, the likes of which you probably won’t encounter anywhere else. The generosity of the customers and the tireless hard work of the fundraising committee is absolutely outstanding! To raise over £13,800 (on average, £1,150.00 each month) is spectacular, especially during the present cost of living crisis.
